Would you like fries with that?
Do you remember Hotmail?
When I was in Year Four, I was a pioneer of the primary school tech space, one of only two kids at my school to have a Hotmail account.
Granted, I was at a Steiner school, so these numbers were remarkably similar when we hit Year Ten.
So how did one spend their time online, with one other person to communicate with, who I spent all day with anyway?
Coming up with an all-time email address.
This was before the days of email@example.com, this was an age of unique identifiers, which I latched on to.
The end result was: firstname.lastname@example.org. I abbreviated the ‘you’ to ‘u’, otherwise it would have just been a silly email address.
Eventually, I tired of this e-atrocity and went to something more generic.
So why did I do this?
Because I knew that 17 years later it would be the perfect way to introduce an offer of personal training services because it seamlessly ties in the well-ingrained sales pitch of ‘would you like fries with that?’
That is what I bring to you today - an offer.
With my move, Najwa has taken over the personal training sessions in the gym. Some of my clients have transitioned to online coaching or other training, which has opened up some training availability.
All of the information is at the link below, in my trademarked long-form explanation, so if you are interested, you can find out more.
This is a great opportunity to work with Najwa in the gym, and myself remotely. There’s a reason so few spots are available – my clients have trained with Naj and know how good she is.
In a month, these spaces will be gone, and I don’t know when they will open up again.
Finding a trainer of Naj’s calibre and demonstrated experience is grossly unlikely, so there won’t be any new trainer’s coming on board that will free up availability.
My point is this: if you are ready, interested, and willing – this is the time to strike.
If not now, I don’t know when!
If you have any questions or queries, you can reply to this email - just don't try to get me at email@example.com.
I look forward to speaking with you.
