Restart Program

The Restart program is for people with a gym membership that’s getting sporadic use. We take the time to get you comfortable in the gym and develop a solid base.

Restart for Recomposition

Over the 18-week program, you are introduced to the key exercises and movement patterns that we use with coaching clients. You will also learn about your current strength and fitness capacity, which you can share with Tom to personalise your strategy from day one as an Online Coaching client.

The Restart program was developed after onboarding hundreds of clients since 2014. We wanted clients to be comfortable in the gym and familiar with the key movement patterns, so we developed an Initial Training Program that all new clients completed when they came on board.

Around the same time, we took onboard client feedback that some people were keen on coaching but didn’t feel comfortable in the gym. This led to the development of Gym 101, a six-week program with the sole intent of helping people become more comfortable in the gym and develop a base level of strength and fitness.

It soon became clear that people completing Gym 101 were then moving into the Initial Training Program. We also had people skipping over Gym 101 to take up the Initial Training program but then realising Gym 101 would have been a better starting place.

In 2021, we combined these programs to create Restart. You don’t have to become a Coaching client to use the Restart program. If you want to improve your routine and build a base level of strength and fitness, Restart is the IFN program for you.
